Tiki Customs: 30 Day Surf Satisfaction

SURF SATISFIED 30 DAY GUARANTEE

A first for us at Tiki, but following the feedback on this new range of Custom Boards its a no brainer. We’re so confident that these boards will have surfers stoked for years on end that for the April & May 2024 we’re offering a 30 Day Satisfaction guarantee on all stocked custom surfboards from the 2024 range.  

And if for any reason you’re unhappy with your board - we’re offering up to 100% store credit in return for the board within 30 days of purchase. 

To proceed with this exchange we ask that customers arrange for the board to be fully de-waxed, cleaned and packaged safely before sending for inspection at the address outlined below. Please note there will be an additional £20 processing fee on each returned board. 

Please be aware that the returned board must be in what we’d class as very good condition, decision at the discretion of Tiki’s hardware team. We’re ok with a few light pressure dents… but any boards that arrive with larger pressure dents, dings, cracks or damage will not be eligible, but the processing fee will stand. 

How to proceed with the Surf Satisfaction Exchange: 

Steps: 

  1. Please reach out to info@tikisurf.co.uk with the subject line as - ‘Custom Surfboard Return (and then your order number)’ 
  2. Attach images of you board clean and de-waxed - top and bottom. The more images the better! If there are pressure dents, please ensure these are visible in the images. 
  3. Include a description of the boards condition - making note of any pressure dents or notable marks.  
  4. Once we’ve had a chance to look over the images and description we’ll get in touch to confirm the board is eligible for the exchange. Please be aware this is not a guarantee we will offer the exchange, we can only offer this once we have seen the board in person. 
  5. Once we confirm that the board is eligible for exchange and needs inspection, the board will need to be sent to the above address within 5 working days to remain eligible. 

If we request the board is sent for inspection, please package carefully with the order number clearly displayed on the box and send to the below address:

  1. Please be aware that you are responsible for the surfboard until it arrives with us for inspection. Any incurred damage the board in transit are the responsibility of the customer and can render the surfboard ineligible for the exchange. Customers will need to arrange a collection for any damaged surfboards. We would recommend packing the surfboard in the original box and pack the board carefully with adequate packaging. 
  2. If your surfboard is approved for the exchange, we will email the proposed store credit to your email address. If agreed we will then email the store credit to the same email address. 
  3. If you decide to purchase another custom surfboard with the credit, we cannot offer the 30 Day Surf Satisfied guarantee on the new surfboard. 

 

T&C’s 

  1. The 30 day Surf Satisfied is only applicable if the customer has a valid receipt or invoice of purchase, and cannot apply after 30 days since the invoice date. 
  2. Surfboard(s) need to be returned within 5 working days once we have confirmed its eligibility and requested inspection. 
  3. Customers can only apply once per board in a 12 month period. Any purchase of a Tiki Custom surfboard using the credit from a previous case will not be eligible for the 30 Day Surf Satisfied guarantee. 
  4. The Surf Satisfaction Guarantee is only applicable on selected Tiki Custom surfboards and only for time periods when the option is outlined officially as available. Tiki reserve the right cease the guarantee at any time for future purchases. 
  5. Surfboards must be cleaned thoroughly and de-waxed. A further cleaning fee of £25 will be incurred if the board arrives for inspection and has not be thoroughly cleaned. 

 

Exclusions: 

  • Custom Surfboards orders in custom dimensions and colourways are excluded from the Surf Satisfied guarantee. 
  • Surfboards ordered using Klarna or other finance options. 
  • Any surfboards that are not Tiki Customs 2024 range. 
  • If the surfboard is purchased at a discount - on Black Friday for example. 
  • The Totem Custom Surfboard model is excluded from this scheme. 
  1. Customers cannot use any loyalty points of discounts when purchasing the replacement board with the returned credit. 
  2. Additional tail pads or accessories do not render the guarantee void. Tiki are not responsible for the cost of replacement. 
  3. The returned surfboard must be in what’s considered by the Tiki team as very good condition. A few small blemishes or pressure dents will be acceptable, but large pressure dents, cracks, damage & large blemishes will render the guarantee void. 
  4. Please be aware that you are responsible for the surfboard until it arrives with us for inspection.   5. Depending on the condition of the returned surfboard, Tiki can offer credit to the customer that is less than the value of the original purchase, based on the products condition. This figure will be confirmed once we have the board.
  6. We do not offer the exchange for the same surfboard in a different colourway but same size. The aim of this guarantee to make sure you’re surfing the right board for you in terms of size and model etc, not based on the aesthetics of the board.
